About Me

My name is Melody Walle, and I live in a suburb of Dallas with my husband, three boys, and two dogs. I grew up in the DFW area, and we came back home after seven years in Arkansas! I love sewing, macramé, hand lettering, cooking, hiking, camping, board games, and movie nights with my family.

My background is in Social Work, and I hold a B.A. in Psychology from Harding University. Before I had kids, I worked as a Women and Children’s Advocate for survivors of domestic and child abuse. After the birth of my first child, I felt the tug on my heart towards birth work! I was trained as a Birth and Postpartum Doula through MotherMe Doulas, and I am a certified Birth and Bereavement Doula through Stillbirthday.

As a Birth Doula, my desire is to provide each and every family with the mental, physical, emotional, and individualized support that YOU need to help you have the birth that you desire. Whether this is at home, in a birthing center, or in a hospital; medicated, or non-medicated; vaginal or Cesarean; I will empower you to take ownership of your birth story.

I also provide prenatal support, education for you and your partner, birth planning services, and referrals to other local birth professionals as needed.

As a Postpartum Doula, I provide breastfeeding support, basic newborn care, newborn massage, infant soothing techniques, sibling help, meal preparation and basic errands, relief so mom can sleep/bathe/eat, and much more! I serve as an experienced set of extra hands to help families transition into their new life and create a new sense of normalcy.
