NICU and Loss

NICU and Loss

As a trained Stillbirthday Doula, we receive specialized training in how to best support those going through many different types of circumstances, such as:

  • birth in any trimester, and in any outcome
  • unconventional loss, which may include adoption or surrogacy
  • NICU care
  • “rainbow” subsequent live birth
  • full term, uncomplicated, live birth with no connection in any way to bereavement
  • newborn nutrition and lactation options
  • and more

I am also a Doula at Labor of Hope, a local DFW non-profit organization. We specialize in supporting families with a critical or life-limiting diagnosis, whether that is baby, mom, dad, or a sibling. Feel free to check out the website if this may be something your family would benefit from.
